HR-Assistant makes it easy to keep course information up to date

Every company must develop a training plan for its employees in order to respond to the rapidly changing market. Training management software such as HR-Assistant helps you keep information up to date and easily plan new courses taking into account those in which each employee has already participated. You can also allow employees to update information about them and assess the effectiveness of the courses they have attended.

Enrolment and communication

Enrolment in a course is made by selecting from the list of employees, or by specifying the teams to follow the course. With HR-Assistant you can automate your communications by sending the course sheet to all course participants with a single click. The automatically created pdf file contains all the information related to the content and organization of the course. This saves a lot of time compared to sending the email to all participants manually. Moreover, if the course has to be postponed or modified, with a simple click it is possible to send the updated course sheet.

Course planning

The module makes it possible to plan training courses distinguishing between those required by law (e.g. safety courses), those considered necessary at team level (e.g. courses aimed at providing the minimum skills required in the role) and finally optional courses of any type. This makes the planning of training more effective and management more efficient.

It is possible to define the people who must participate in the course by selecting them from the list of employees or by specifying the team(s) that must attend the course, setting the dates and duration, any expiration date (e.g. for safety courses), creating multiple editions of the same course.

The analysis of the employees’ skills gap, which can be obtained through the skills assessment module, can help to define the most appropriate courses for each of them.

 

Tracking of training hours

The verification of the participants and the hours of training carried out on the total of those planned can be a task easily susceptible to errors. For this reason, the training course module has been designed to verify that the planned training has been carried out. The recording of the participation in the courses can be done independently by the employees themselves or by the supervisor. In addition, the list of persons who have not yet completed the course is automatically updated. For those who have not been able to attend, it may be necessary to provide a new edition of the course. The module facilitates the creation of a new session of a course as it is enough to duplicate the course and increase the edition number, then make the necessary changes.

Certifications

Some jobs and professions require specific certifications, such as software and data networks. Qualification as a supplier may require certification of knowledge and operational skills. HR-Assistant allows you to keep track of the certifications that your staff has acquired and to attach documents. In addition, thanks to the employee’s evaluation sheet, you can summarize all the data related to the training and evaluation of each employee.
