Cloud computing is increasingly characterized as a driver for innovation, as companies providing software are taking the opportunity to propose radically different value proposition, redesigning products and developing new market segments.
Even in the human resource management field we can see a growing number of new software solutions, some of which are able to revolutionize the way the responsible HR manages staff and communicates or interacts with employees.
The software is thus transformed from a specific tool for those involved in human resources to a resource to which all employees can access online, each with its own role, to independently manage data and procedures that affect them.
The advantages of this approach, also called “employee self service”, are manifested in the automation of repetitive tasks and speeding up processes, favoring a broader sharing of information and a lightening of the burden of HR data management.
