Performance assessment and know-how

The strength of a company lies in the know-how of its people

Training is important for both the employee and the company. It is the basis for individual and general growth processes and plays a major role in strengthening staff motivation towards the common goal. But tools are needed to help manage the competences present in the company and to identify precisely in which areas they need to be strengthened. In this way it is possible to deal with a reorganisation phase or respond quickly to business opportunities, or to plan training as a means of developing potential, particularly for key competences.

Performance assessment

HR-Assistant helps you to do the job of competence assessment quickly and effectively. You can structure competencies into one or more levels, define work groups or teams and assign them a specific set of target competencies. Dashboards and graphs allow you to visualise the data in a concise and intuitive way.

The definition of work groups or teams that the system proposes is very useful and simplifies management. In fact, an employee who belongs to one or more groups/teams is automatically assigned the relevant skills.

You can improve staff motivation by allowing everyone to enter a self-assessment of competences into the system. In this way you can create the opportunity for a constructive confrontation between boss and employee and also bring out new areas of staff know-how or which could be better valued in the company.

In the skills assessment form you can also enter any certifications that the employee has acquired by attaching the specific document.

Searching for skills in the company

A powerful search function allows you to immediately find people with a certain set of skills and know-how. You can use filters to enter a minimum level of required skills, for example. With this tool, you can quickly respond to requests for resources with specific skills. Finding out who has the right skills for each situation quickly and easily can greatly improve the efficiency of your company.

Critical issues, such as lack of staff with certain skills, are easily highlighted on a special page. When an employee leaves the company, you can easily check which skills you are losing and who could replace them. The opportunity to plan new placements or training courses is also just a click away.
