SERVICES
Immediate activation and use
HR-Assistant SaaS HR Management requires no installation costs, only a monthly fee. Once you have subscribed to the service, you will receive an email with your access credentials. HR-Assistant will be available immediately via the internet.
You can log in as an administrator, start configuring the system for your company, define other users and assign them access credentials.
It’s very easy, you don’t need any computer skills, you just need to follow a short self-instruction course using the video tutorials that you will find in the registered users area and keep the user manual handy.
QuickStart Service
This service is designed to speed up the system start-up process so that you can immediately appreciate the benefits without having to spend time configuring and entering data into the system. We take care of everything, you just have to provide us with the information via Excel files or other types of files.
Support
With HR-Assistant you will have a support service to help you use the system. If you can’t find the answer to your problem in the FAQs or in the documentation on the website and if you are authorised by your company to request support, you can contact our team by sending an email to support@hr-assistant.it.
The service is available from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Write an email describing the problem, including screen shots if necessary. A person from our team will take care of your request.
Security
La sicurezza è la nostra priorità. With HR-Assistant your data is always safe. We have put in place a multi-layered set of security measures that are difficult to implement within a company.
Physical security
The hosting infrastructure is located in secure data centres using all the latest electronic surveillance technology as well as multi-factor access control systems.
These data centres are protected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by specialised security staff and access is only granted on the basis of the principle of minimum privilege. Every time a person leaves an area containing customer data, they are inspected. Environmental systems are designed to limit the impact of downtime on operations.
Data centres are located in different geographical regions and in different availability zones, so optimal service is achieved even if there are service disruptions in a particular area, even if the cause is due to natural disasters or system failures.
The infrastructure is designed to provide optimal availability without sacrificing customer privacy and confidentiality.
Application security
HR-Assistant has been developed on a software platform designed for the highest security standards. The multi-layered application architecture allows both logical and physical separation of the presentation and execution level from the data access level in order to ensure the necessary controls before allowing access to the database.
Sophisticated security rules control which users can access each feature and data table to the point where individual actions are controlled at the individual record level.
The security of access to the system is achieved through various measures, such as:
- Authentication via username and password transmitted with SSL encrypted protocols, password security check, settable password expiry procedures, password change with captcha validation
- Automatic closure of the user session if the IP address changes during the session, in order to prevent session hijacking.
- Automatic closure of the user session if a new user session is started by a different browser in order to prevent multiple concurrent sessions
- Ability to track all IP addresses used by users.
- Possibility of blocking access from certain IP addresses
- Possibility of restricting access only to certain ranges of IP addresses
Constant monitoring
The hosting infrastructure is protected by an extensive network of monitoring systems. These systems provide important security features such as basic protection against distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks and detection of brute force attacks on accounts. In addition, the infrastructure components are continuously scanned and tested.
High availability
The data centres used for hosting the application are located in different regions of the world and in different availability zones for each region. Each availability zone is an independent fault zone. Therefore, the availability zones have been physically separated within a region and are located in low risk areas. Each is fed by different grids, so that individual error points are reduced. The availability zones are redundantly connected to different top-level transit providers.
In the unlikely event of a failure, customer data traffic is diverted away from the affected area by automated processes.
Core applications are deployed in an N+1 configuration, so that if one data centre were to fail, there would still be enough capacity to balance the traffic load on the other centres.
Software customisations
It is possible to request customisation of the software in order to adapt it to the company’s processes and specific customer problems, e.g:
- adding functionality
- adding fields to the database
- customisation of export files
- development of new types of reports
- interfacing with other software, e.g. payroll software
- interfacing with time and attendance terminals
Continuous updates
The hardware and software of the servers, on which HR-Assistant is hosted, are constantly updated. Systems that have reached the end of their lifecycle are replaced with those equipped with the most advanced processors not only to improve performance, but also because this allows new protection technologies to be included.
